At Blue Cross, we believe every horse deserves a second chance.

The need for our help has never been greater. Many horses and ponies across the UK are facing uncertain futures due to neglect, overbreeding, and financial hardship. Volunteers play a vital role in enabling us to find loving new homes for these animals, and we simply couldn’t do it without them.

Blue Cross operates two Horse Adoption Centres in Burford and Rolleston on Dove. Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, helping us rehome horses and ponies that have been made homeless.

We’re looking for foster yard owners who can gift their time and facilities to temporarily home horses ready for adoption. By providing a safe, loving environment, you’ll help free up space at our centres, allowing us to rescue even more horses in need.

This is a crucial role in our mission to improve the lives of horses. You’ll directly contribute to their welfare, ensuring they receive the care they need while awaiting their forever homes.

We’re seeking someone who can gift Blue Cross their time and facilities, in return for the reward of being part of a passionate, supportive team dedicated to improving the lives of horses.
