Your role will involve collecting and delivering a variety of donated items, from clothing and books to furniture and household goods. By ensuring these items reach our shops safely, you’ll help keep them stocked with fantastic finds and directly support our work caring for sick, injured, and homeless pets.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting donations between our shops, ensuring everything arrives safely and on time. You’ll also support our shops by helping to maintain smooth operations and be the friendly face of Blue Cross. Your interactions with, shop teams, and customers will spread the word about our mission and make a positive impact in our community.

We’re looking for a volunteer with a full UK driving licence and access to your own car or van. You should be physically fit to lift and carry donations, including heavier items, and navigate stairs when necessary. Adaptability and flexibility are key, as you’ll need to move items promptly as required. Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for effective interactions with, shop teams, and the public. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
