Voices for Horses Volunteer

Could you make a real difference for horses and ponies in need?

Blue Cross operates two horse rehoming centres in Burford and Rolleston on Dove, and we invite you to join our Voices for Horses team—dedicated volunteers who use their voices (and social media skills!) to advocate for horses and find them loving homes.

Many horses and ponies across the UK face uncertain futures due to neglect, overbreeding, and financial hardship. Volunteers like you help ensure that these animals get the care, attention, and love they deserve.

If you have a flair for social media and want to use your skills to make a real difference, this role is for you. By sharing the stories of horses looking for homes, you’ll help raise awareness, engage new supporters, and inspire action for horses in need.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our horse adoption team to amplify our social media presence and highlight our vital work. Your efforts will directly increase the visibility of the horses and ponies in our care, helping them find their perfect families.
