Cat Foster Carer - Hospitals (For cage rest cats)

Opportunity image

Every year thousands of cats receive treatment in one of our Blue Cross hospitals. Our clinical foster carers open their homes and hearts to cats who really do need a home environment whilst under the care of our hospital teams. These might be cats who are recovering from operations and need cage rest, cats under assessment or needing medication, or those needing more care before being ready for a new home. Many of these cats may find it difficult to deal with a veterinary environment and so our clinical foster carers provide them with a safe space in their own homes until they have completed their recovery. Fostering is hugely rewarding but it takes a special kind of person. We provide full training and ongoing support and all costs are covered. If you'd like to help a cat whilst it recovers from veterinary treatment and waits for its forever home, this role could be for you.
