BIG HELP OUT: Cat Toy Maker (Southampton Blue Cross Rehoming Centre)

Cats love to play and can never have enough toys. As part of The Big Help Out, we’d love your help creating some fantastic toys to entertain the cats and kittens in our care whilst they wait for their forever family. Cats are very intelligent and can easily become bored, so Blue Cross ensure the hundreds of cats we help every year have a ready supply of toys to keep them busy. We have two patterns which are easily made at home with basic craft skills and don’t take long. It's a great thing to do with the family and you’ll know you’re making a huge difference to the cats living in our centres or with our dedicated foster carers.

If you’re interested signing up is quick and simple. Once you’ve registered, you’ll see a link to the ‘how to guide’. Then all you need to do is have some fun making your toy and contact your local centre to arrange to drop off your cat toy between 7th and 28th June.
