Dog Foster Carer (Hampshire)

Every year thousands of dogs find themselves in our Blue Cross kennels. They get all the love of our Centre teams but it's not like being in a real home. Our foster carers open their homes and hearts to dogs who really do need a home environment. These might be dogs who struggle with kennel life, dogs who need some quiet time to recuperate if they have been poorly or dogs who would really benefit from learning how to behave in a home situation. Fostering is hugely rewarding but it take a special kind of person. We provide full training and ongoing support and all costs are covered. If you'd like to help a dog whilst they wait for their forever home this role could be for you.
